This kind of certainty.....

This kind of certainty comes but once in a lifetime.  Though recognized by two hearts sometimes only one heart has the courage to grab it, embrace it, covet it, and adore it.  Sometimes the other heart doesn't dare to allow it to flow, to happen, to be what it is, for fear of losing it.  So with great pain we either walk away or are forced to bow out.... hopefully gracefully. And we move on, beyond the dream we thought was so near.  And we mourn, and we talk to ourselves about all the reasons why this is for the best.  But it's all wrong, nothing is right unless you are together and so you silently carry him with you until one day.....it's really over.  And, you can finally breathe again.  This kind of certainty comes but once in a lifetime so if you are blessed and lucky enough to find it, do not be a fool and let it go.  Bask in the love that has been given to you and that you may never find again.
